Jerry Zalnoski (Zee) grew up in Mobile, Alabama. While attending art classes at University of Florida, he joined his first professional band.
Later he changed his major from art to elementary education and continued working on his songwriting. After college he was signed to an independent record label with a group that played at universities and clubs around the country.
As an adult, Jerry found himself in Atlanta working at Paideia, a well-respected independent school. This is where his love of teaching and years of playing music became one. The result is a self-produced CD of original children's songs called "Boogie Woogie Bullfrog." that won the NAPPA Gold Award in 1995. Jerry has appeared on the FOX Network, various children's radio programs and has toured schools throughout the eastern United States. His music has been heard around the globe on a children's program in Spain.
Ten years of educating children and over thirty years of playing music makes Jerry Zee a dedicated artist and entertainer. Jerry's concerts are friendly and interactive with an emphasis on learning through fun and humor. The many styles of music he plays are enjoyed by young and old alike.
